The Grahamstown Foundation and the South African Council for English Education (SACEE) are calling for entries into the 2017 English Olympiad.

The theme for the 2017 Olympiad is “Then and Now” and explores the early and later writing of authors whose work was first published in English Alive. The Anthology is entitled "Staying Alive". 

The English Olympiad is open to candiates who will be in grades 10-12 in 2017. Candidates enter through their schools.
